In September 2015, Mrs. Aisha Buhari distributed cartons of Frisomum Gold Milk to the wives of state governors for onward delivery to breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women across Nigeria.
Frisomum is provided as a supplementary nutrient source to support expectant and nursing mothers during the breastfeeding period.
The distribution emphasized that Frisomum is not a substitute for exclusive breastfeeding, which remains the recommended option for mother and child whenever possible.
